Starry night nails with a little bit of galaxy

I'm not into manicures. In fact, I've never had one. I don't paint my nails because I know it will chip off the next day. But, I do always paint my toes. I will not being showing you my toes....Shopping at Target this weekend, I saw a glimmer of something on the end cap. It was dark gray shimmering nail polish. Anyone that knows me knows I love the color gray.


Not wanting to spend $8 on this awesome nail polish that I will use once, I found this awesome set of 5 nail polishes for $5!! After I did my toes, I thought, "why not?" So, I did my fingers too. I used the dark gray and layered on a top coat of the gold glitter. And now I look like I have little galaxies on my nails! It's day two and no chips!

    You know I never paint my nails either - they chip too quickly and to be fair I'm just not that lady like! I do however LOVE how you have styled this post - colour pics the works. fabulous

    I've never had a manicure either! I used to paint my nails pretty regularly, but I haven't for years now. Maybe I'll go find that cute polish set at my local Target!

    Yeah I forgot to mention...I think the last time I painted my nails I was listening to Nsync. That's how long it's been...

    I totally painted my nails taupe with pink sparkles yesterday. I don't know what came over me. I just needed some sparkles!

    I always think my nails look funny painted. I'm a weirdo. I love the color combo though!! Now I'm tempted to try again...

    So funny, I've never painted my nails either...until this fall. I've just never felt that I had paint worthy fingers! But I started noticing that a lot of women were sporting shorter nails painted dark (see above!) nail polish, and I really liked it. So I've been experimenting too. Love the sparkly gray...and how you styled this post!

    Thanks! Yeah, I don't do long nails, I can't stand it! I'm so glad short nails are in. I've seen a lot of really cool nails lately, like candy corns and kooky stuff. I don't think I could set aside that kind of time...
