How to choose a wedding venue

The biggest choice we had to make while wedding planning was finding the perfect venue. I think this and the photographer are the most important choices you can make. Here's how we did it:

1) Research, research, research. Gather every venue you like. Make sure these venues are fairly convenient for your guests to get to.

2) Narrow these venues down by price (or the feature that's most important to you).

3) Rank them.

4) Visit. Ask questions like crazy. Take pictures.

We were able to get our venue list down to two by doing this. One of the locations was much less convenient for out of town guests. So, we chose the closer venue to the airport. But, we loved the other venue so much, I want to share the pictures with you. If you're planning to have a wedding in north Texas, check out the Mckinney Cotton Mill. It's rustic and beautiful.
