Our anniversary mini getaway

For our first anniversary I had thought of all these great expensive vacations we could go on. I really wanted to do something BIG. But, instead we are paying off our debt. So, going anywhere far wasn't really an option. We decided we'd go on a little getaway, just a weekend. Our only requirement was a jet tub. Being in an apartment, we have a tiny bathtub/shower. After the stress of last year we wanted to relax. Here's where we stayed:
Instead of a bathtub, we got a pool in the room! Yes, that is 4 feet deep! It was pretty awesome. We watched tv while in the pool! This is extremely exciting for us, since we don't have cable. I'd say a lot of the time we watched tv and just relaxed. It was great. By the end of it, I had cabin fever. Which I guess isn't such a bad thing.

  2. So glad you made time for each other in spite of money goals. We wish you many, many wonderful anniversaries together. You will eventually see the world, but it will only matter if first you seek one another in all things. Love you, Aunt T
