I've been slacking in the decorating department lately, but I'm ready to get our apartment looking good again. I used to love all the compliments I'd get when people came over to my last apartment. It was smaller and I took pride in decorating it. Then, I went from a small one bedroom apartment to a large two bedroom. Things look too spread out now and all the accessories look too small. So here's what I bought for my new gradual apartment transformation.
The picture frame is in the dining room and currently has a picture of Lucy (the rat terrier aka best dog ever). I love these white birds for the wall. It gives a little texture without screaming, "I have birds on my wall!" This jewelry tree was only $14.99! It is for the bedroom dresser. I'd also like to find a nice tray to go along with it for lotions and things. This super styling pillow is for the living room couch. I bought two of them. I am completely obsessed with it. They also had some great lamps, picture frames and ceramic trays.
I love the pillow!
ReplyDeleteTarget is my happy place! I love all these items, too! I'll have to keep my eye out for that jewelry tray...so CUTE!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I was so impressed with what they had this season. January can be really blah!
ReplyDeleteCute finds! I really like the pillow, too. You might consider looking for a vintage dresser tray on Etsy. I bet there would be lots of options, and you could find something really unique.
ReplyDeleteI love Tar-jay! I'm in that store at least once a week, if not more. I always forget something and have to go back. I go in thinking I'm picking up two or three things, then get side-tracked and pick up 10 other things, forgetting the items I originally went there to buy! Happy decorating!
ReplyDeleteYou're right Sweet Posy! I should look for something vintage! Great idea.
ReplyDeleteinspiration-That is exactly what I do too!
Well darn it. Clearly I need to head to Target soon. I should look around and see if we're out of anything! Gorgeous finds! I'd love to see some pics of your apartment... hint hint.
ReplyDeleteHehe. I will totally take some pictures of my apartment at some point. Once I like it again. I'm going to be doing some before and after pics.
