Yay it's Monday!

Not really. But, what a busy weekend. Busy and fulfilling. Friday night we volunteered for Feed My Starving Children. It was a lot of fun. First, I was the sealer, then the scooper and then the weigher. I'm pretty sure I could run the place now.
Saturday we went shopping in downtown Geneva, IL. I can't believe how much it has grown since last year. There's a chocolate and ice cream shop down there called "Graham's". You can order an Italian soda float in any flavor. It's awesome. I got cherry soda with vanilla ice cream, yay! There was also a really cool lion statue.
Saturday night we went to a Halloween "party". It was really just a small get together. We played this horrible game called "Zombies!!!" DO NOT play it! IT WILL NEVER END! And I'm sorry to say we brought a cupcake cake, pttttoiee! It was kind of like this:
Except that ours had a little poopy tail, was missing a cupcake (I'm assuming someone ate it at the store...), had arms and was holding a Halloween pumpkin ring. Obviously this is from Cake Wrecks. I can spend hours on that blog.

Then yesterday I made some jewelry that I'll show you later on this week! Hope you all had a good weekend. Anyone doing anything on a Monday Halloween night?

  1. Love Geneva! Haven't seen that lion though. I'll have to go into downtown Geneva sometime soon. (I hate to confess that I often go to Geneva Commons or Trader Joe's and don't make it to the independent stores. Bad, I know.)

  2. Yeah I definitely think it's new. There's a second Graham's now which I didn't even know about. It's in front of the one that sells coffee and hot chocolate. Have you been to Cocoon downtown? It's my favorite store!
