Inspired by pennants

I've been so inspired by pennants lately. Those cute little colorful flags that are for whimsical party decoration. And today will be 53 degrees and that just makes me want to celebrate. The pennant makes me think of spring time.

My inspiration in action: A cover I designed for work and my pennant flag necklace on Etsy. Right now, I'm working on a new super secret enamel pennant necklace. I'm excited to work with bright vibrant colors. I love how versatile the pennant theme is. It's great for parties, a child's room, decoration or to wear as an everyday celebration.

Current inspiration: Yellow and Gray

This has been my favorite color combination ever since I saw the new outdoor furniture at World Market this past spring. It's such a beautiful and unexpected color combination. It's no secret, gray is my favorite color. You may be asking, "Is it really a color? Isn't it just less of an absence of color?" I don't care; I'm obsessed. Put yellow with it and I'm in love.

I'm on Pinterest

As you may know, I post my finds from Pinterest from time to time. This week I've been working feverishly and I'm not sure why, lol! If you'd like to follow me, here I am on Pinterest.


My favorite board so far is my Lights board, which is a mix of nature's light and gorgeous lights of the man made variety. I love adding to it, it feels so magical and surreal. If only winter was really like this...

I love color, especially a rainbow of colors. This is from my board appropriately titled Colors. I'm in love with succelents too. They spray painted these for a beautiful colorful effect.

And of course some awesome rooms in Cool Spaces. I love all these colors used together. Would I design my own home like this? Probably not, but I find it very inspirational! Makes me want to be daring.
